It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlotte Uzzell of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Patterson and Janie Patterson; her brother Chester Patterson; and her brother-in-law Hal Kelly. She is survived by: her husband David Uzzell; her children, Jerrie Carter (Mitch) and Becky Hughes (Jonathan); her grandchildren, April Donithan (Erik), Brandon Carter, Tyler Carter (Kaitlyn), Zach Hughes (Llala) and Joshua Hughes; her great grandchildren, Jayden Donithan, Alexa Donithan, Ryder Carter and Spencer Carter; and her sister Judy Kelly. She is also survived by Her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
