He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Kelly and Lucy Iola Hipp Kelly; his wife Mary Josephine "Jo" Tarpey Kelly; and his siblings, John H. Barley, Billy Barley, Lee Roy Kelly, Jr., Tommy Kelly, Jessie Wicker, Betty Morrison, Barbara O'Quinn and Lois Kelly Wallace.
He is survived by: his children, Susie Kelly Thomas (Joel Oldham) and Johnnie Kelly (Sally); his sisters, Catherine Williams and Helen Rosser; and his grandchildren, Victoria Gunter (Jarren) of Sanford and Zachary Thomas of Sanford. He is also survived by his family and friends.
