She was predeceased by: her parents, Carey Newton Castleberry, Sr. and Mamie Crowder Castleberry (Juanita); her husband Wilbur Lee Baker; her son Joseph Lee Baker; and her siblings, Brenda Bougsty, C. N. Castleberry, Jr. and Robert "Bud" Castleberry.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Baker Coleman (Michael); her sisters, Alice Jean Miller (Jerry) of Cary, Minnie Joyce Griffin (A. R.) of Gainesville and Rita Ann Leinbach of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Tyler John Coleman (Shawna Rubottom Coleman) of Markleeville, Patrick Lee Coleman, Carey Graham Coleman, Jacob Austin Baker of Sanford and Kamryn Baker Mays (Teddy) of Columbia; and her great grandchild Rhys Mays. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
