She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hise and Nealer McLean Buchanan; her former husband James Horace Moore (Andrew John Boese); and her siblings, Tommie, Tootie, Mattie Lee, Annie, John Buchanan and James Buchanan.
She is survived by: her children, Angela McLaughlin (Myke) of Sanford, Eddie Moore (Sharon) of Sanford and Sheila Pope (Troy) of Sanford; and her sisters, Mildred Nellie Griffin (Charles) of Spring Lake and Peggy Sue Griffin of Spring Lake. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
