He was predeceased by: his parents, Beady Bennette Waddell, Sr. and Annie Reives Waddell; and his siblings, John, William, Sylvester, Ethel and Mosel.
He is survived by: his children, Belinda, Annie, Steve (Theresa), Glenn (Angela), Beady III (Valerie) and Roderick (Alma); his sister Marie Martin; and his sister-in-law Mildred (William). He is also survived by grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Knotts Funeral Home (719 Wall St, Sanford, NC 27330). A wake will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Blandonia Presbyterian Church (605 Wall St, Sanford, NC 27330). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Lee Memory Gardens (2600 Hawkins Ave, Sanford, NC 27330).
