She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Gladden Gilliam and Henry Cornelius Gilliam, Sr.; her spouse Reevis "Al" Alphin; and her sisters, Doris Collins (Ben) and Lynda Bowers (Bob).
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Stephanie) and Carla (Sue); her grandsons, Trace Alphin and Sam Alphin; and her brother H. C. Gilliam.
