It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Stribis Kassick of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Audrey Stribis had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Audrey Stribis may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Stirbis and Rita McDonnell Stirbis; and her husband Daniel Kassick. She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie Kassick and Linda Kassick Howell (Mike); her grandson Cameron Howell; her brother Paul Stirbis (Bernice); her nieces, Lisa Alspach and Rene Burke; and her sister-in-law June Burke.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Stephens Catholic Church (901 N Franklin Dr, Sanford, NC 27330).
