It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Ruth Shaw of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Pulley Chalmers and Eugene Chalmers of Broadway. She is survived by: her husband Robert Shaw; her daughter Cynthia Shaw; her grandchildren, Jamir Shaw of High Point, NC and Aiyana Shaw; her siblings, Veronica C. Mays (Matthew), Glenda Chalmers, Gloria C. Boyce (Marcus), Jimmy Chalmers, Floyd Chalmers (Shirley) and William Chalmers (Becky); her brother-in-law William Singleton; and her friend Veronica Mays. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
