With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annie Jane Griffin of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on May 13, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cousar-Mckoy and Emma J. Cousar-Mckoy; her husband Hubert Griffin; and her children, Hubert Jr., Julis, Lucille, Rebecca, Mattie and Terry Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Mckoy (Ruth), Melvin, David Griffin, Anniebell Johnson (Thurman), Carolyn and Brenda Griffin; her children-in-law, Lewis Covington and Joan Griffin; and her daughter Betty M. Lindsey. She is also survived by thirty-five grandchildren; seventy-seven great grandchildren; and thirty-seven great-great-grandchildren.
Annie attended New Generation (until Covid) under the leadership of Pastor Phillip Watson.
