It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Sparks (Sandy Ridge, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Blanche Throckmorton Sparks; his sister Shirley Sparks; and his uncle Joel Throckmorton. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Mays Sparks; his children, Grayson Ray Sparks (Ellie) of Monroe and Andrea Leigh Sparks (Tarius) of Greensboro; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Sierra, Amber, Ellie, Emerson and Korben. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
