He is survived by: his wife Theresa Vernon Adkins; his children, William "Bill" Adkins, III (Ginny) and Erica Adkins; his sisters, Linda Sikes and Kay Bullins (Randy); his grandson Cameron Smith; his nieces and nephews, Crystal Smith, Stephanie Roberts, Matt Roberts and Bobby Bullins; and his friend Ronnie Marley.
