It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Kay Yanez (Sandy Ridge, North Carolina), who passed away on October 9, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Ray Nelson and Sarah Elizabeth Bennett Shough; her son Billy Jose; her brother Bobby Nelson; and her brother-in-law Paul Craddock.
She is survived by: her husband Jose Guadalupe Yanez; her children, William Stephens (Donna) and Elena Yanez (James Haizlip); her siblings, Donald "Donnie" Nelson (Pattie) and Joy Lee Craddock; and her grandchildren, Abigail and Hunter Stephens.
