He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Jane and Eldon McLeod; his wife Jeanette McLeod; and his siblings, Edna Reynolds, Alma Cagle, Ruby Davis, Grace Toler and Rex McLeod.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Boyette (Norman) of Franklinton, Iris Sheffield (Butch) of Wake Forest, Doris Cheek (Jerry) of Hillsborough and Danny McLeod (Vicky) of Robbins; and his siblings, Loretta Garner, Hubert McLeod, Odell McLeod and Rayvon McLeod. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church he loved so much, Crossroads Baptist Church.
