With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Gail Dodson of Sandy Ridge, North Carolina, born in Lawsonville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 8, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leff C. "Pete" Nelson and Edna Smith Nelson; and her siblings, Synthia Steele, Sylvia Nickelston, Barbara Adams and Kenneth Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Odean Dodson of Sandy Ridge; her daughters, Deneen Williams (Frank) of Sandy Ridge and Damita Williams (Brad Smith) of Madison; her grandchildren, Judith Blaire Williams, Jonathan Williams and Zebulon Williams (Anna); her goddaughter Leah Marley; her great grandchild Ella Rae Williams; her godson Dailon Marley; her sister-in-law Wilodae Wood; and her siblings, Dewey Nelson (Linda) of Aarat, VA and Rebecca Joyce (Oneal) of Mayodan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
