He was predeceased by: his parents, Edsel Bennett and Brona Hall Bennett; and his brother Teddy Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Amy Shelton Bennett; his nephews, Mathew Bennett and Andrew (Jessica Bennett) of Danbury; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava, Aiden, Axel, Aisley, Wyatt and Levi Bennett. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel (1020 Hope Beasley Rd, Sandy Ridge, NC 27046). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
