He is survived by: his children, Sam Amos and Alan Neal; his siblings, Harvey Martin, Odell Nelson, Mattie Ruth Neal, Shelby Williams, Marie Knight (Mike), Pat Carter and Dot Carter (Bobby); and his siblings-in-law, Williams Shelton, Gary Shelton and Ann Martin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and several special great–nieces and nephews.
