She is survived by: her husband Leroy Hiatt; her sons, Thomas Hiatt (April) and William Hiatt (Crystal); her grandchildren, Brittany Hiatt Fulcher (Cody), Katie Hiatt Sweatt (Jacob), Ashleigh Hiatt Amos (Steven), Emily Hiatt and Tayler Hiatt; her great grandchildren, Hunter Fulcher, Greyson Fulcher, Lexi Fulcher and Owen Sweatt; her sisters, Gerlene Williams and Margie Mabe Southern; and her sister-in-law Helen Mabe.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel (1020 Hope Beasley Rd, Sandy Ridge, NC 27046). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
