It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Cooleige Mabe (Sandy Ridge, North Carolina), born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on May 1, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother LeRoy Allen Mabe; and his sister-in-law Alma S. Mabe. He is survived by: his spouse Coleen Vernon Mabe; his grandchildren, John Wesley Morris, Jr. (Melissa) and Christie Michele Williams Fain (Steven); and his great grandchildren, Hayden Morris, Savannah Fain and Wyatt Fain.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Snow Creek Cemetery in Lawsonville, North Carolina, the VFW Post 11173 in Walnut Cove, North Carolina.
