He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Hicks and Nannie Venable Hicks; his siblings, Thomas Hicks and Barbara Shelton; his half-siblings, Bill Hicks, Addie Larson and Ruth Bowlin; and his sister-in-law Lucille Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Roxanne "Ann" Morton Hicks; his children, Mickey Hicks (April) and Tony Hicks (Becky); his stepson Shane Hicks (Kim); his grandchildren, Austin Hicks (Brooke), Hannah Hicks (Brendon), Tori Husel (Daniel) and Cole Hicks; his stepgrandson Lucas Hicks; his great grandchild Brantley Hicks; and his siblings, Jim Hicks, Nancy McHone (Bill) and Ruby Tolnay (Carl).
Memorials may be made to the Neal-Tuttle Cemetery.
