She is survived by: her husband Gurney Lee Nance; her son Kyle Walker "K. W." Nance; her siblings, John David Stanley (Nancy) of Ridgeway, VA, Geneva Brodie of Figsboro, VA, Marie Vontur (Thomas) of Ridgeway, VA and Jane Raymond (Paul) of Eden, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Nance (Kathy), Sheila Wilson (Barry) of Stoneville, NC and Cheryl Knight (Randy) of Stoneville, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel (1020 Hope Beasley Rd, Sandy Ridge, NC 27046). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Sandy Ridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery (2527 Amostown Rd, Sandy Ridge, NC 27046).
