She was predeceased by: her parent Marion Nelson; her parents-in-law, Otis and Mozelle Steele; her siblings, LaVerne Vernon, Bobby and Danny Nelson; and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Steele, Bobby Lackey, O'Neil and Delane Steele.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Steele; her daughter Kim; her son-in-law Nolan Lawson; her granddaughters, Nicole Lawson and Ashley Avis (Charles Avis); her siblings-in-law, Linda Nelson, Virginia Lackey, Roxie Steele and Royce Steele; and her nieces and nephews, Pat Elliot, Lisa Baker, Karinda Wilson, Tonya Shelton, Meredith Snoddy, Melissa Garner, Courtney Shelton, Marisa Wilson, Don Steele, Darrell Nelson and Cameron Ward.
