He is survived by: his children, Marquitta McAbee of Ellenboro, Michelle Wood of Ellenboro, Joshua Lawson (Emily) of Forest City and James Lawson of Forest City; and his grandchildren, Sarah Jones (Rainey Jr.), Cierra Hawkins (Robin), Kyle Wood, Joshua Levi Lawson, Jamison Matthew Lawson and Eleanor Wren Lawson. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
