With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelby Dowless (Saluda, North Carolina), who passed away on March 31, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lavon Housand and Susan Rebecca Edgarton Housand; her husband Dickie Dowless; and her sister Leura Fowler. She is survived by: her daughters, Tabatha Darby (Jay) of Pelzer, SC and Gigi Talbert (Gary) of Douglasville, GA; her siblings, Tex Housand (Peggy) of Clarendon, NC and Lois Singletary (Charles) of Tabor City, NC; her grandchildren, Hunter Darby, Brooke Darby, Charity Nichols (David), Jonathan Talbert (Julie), Justin Talbert (Erica) and Jason Talbert (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Adalynn and Leighton.
