It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wade Donald Willis Sr. of Salter Path, North Carolina, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Willis and William Headen Willis; his son Wade Donald Willis Jr.; and his brothers, Abram Willis and William Willis Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Vesta Willis; his children, Candy Rice of Indian Beach and Tony Willis of Salter Path; his siblings, Alberta Smith of Salter Path, Delores Guthrie of Salter Path and Brinkley Willis of Salter Path; his grandchildren, Ashley Willis (Madison) of Salter Path and Wade Donald Willis III; and his great grandchildren, Addison Blake Rice and Wyatt Donald Willis.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
