He was predeceased by: his father Theodore Guthrie; his son Eric Guthrie; and his brothers, Buck Guthrie, Ott Guthrie, Gherman Guthrie, Marshall and Tucker.
He is survived by: his close friend Lori Garner; his son Craig Guthrie (Pamela Kelly) of Salter Path; his stepchildren, Patrick Garner (Chelsea) of Salter Path and Erin Garner (John Moore) of Newport; his brother Til Guthrie of Belle Chasse, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Makenzie Lewis (Nicolas) of Newport, Aleah Garner of Salter Path, Blake Garner of Salter Path and Emily Moore of Newport; and his great grandchild Kennedy Lewis.
