He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Smith and Eunice Smith; and his siblings, Spencer Smith, June Willis and Patsy Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly of Salter Path; his children, Tammy Franklin, Allison Smith and Adam Smith (Melissa Guitard) of Salter Path; his sister-in-law Rebecca Smith of Salter Path; his grandchildren, River Smith and Bayli Horack (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Emmilee-Ann Horack and Xander Horack; and his stepgrandchild Piper Guitard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
