He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lee and Annie Marie Kepley Shoaf; his wife Rachel Wagoner Morgan Shoaf; his brother Perry Hardin Shoaf; and his stepdaughter Eva Morgan.
He is survived by: his sisters, Carol Shoaf Smith and Judy Shoaf Mclaughlin of Salisbury, NC; his son Mark Shoaf (Kamm) of Piedmont, SC; his stepchildren, Wayne Morgan, Rick Morgan (Wanda) and Kim Fink (George) of Salisbury, NC; and his grandchildren, Jessica Tucker, Zac Fink (Jennifer), Bethany Hutchinson (Steven), Chelsea Osterloh and Luke Morgan. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
