Virginia Blackwell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2024, at the age of 82, Virginia Blackwell (Salisbury, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Eugene Almond and Rosa Bell Page; her husband Robert Lee Blackwell; and her siblings, Ralph Almond and Peggy Collins.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Crouch (Richard) of Rockwell, Diane Owens (Joey) of Rockwell and Robert Blackwell of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Dean Crouch (Andrea), Alston Owens (Rachel), Kaitlin Petterson (Matt) and Josh Owens; and her close friend Bobby Harrington of Mooresville.
