He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Mace Burleson; and his siblings, Mable Lee Haga, Mary Lou Napoli, Jennie Cornett and Russell Burleson.
He is survived by: his parents, T. R. Burleson and Gwendolyn McKinney Burleson; his children, Terri L. Burleson, Mitzi B. Hellmann (Richard) and Ed Burleson (Pam); his grandchildren, Kara Melchiore (Brandon), Laura Craig (Bryce), Seth Burleson (Cydney) and Mitchell Burleson; his great grandchildren, Emmelia, Adelaide and Mary Lily; and his siblings, Carolyn Burnette, Julia Ellis, Angie Duncan, Bob Burleson and Fred Burleson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
