With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sylvia Correll Bryan of Salisbury, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband David Lee Bryan; her daughter Renee Newton; her grandchildren, Christa Reavis and Joshua Smith; and her brothers, Terry Lynn Correll and Sonny Correll.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Reavis (Michael), Kelly Simpson (Beryl) and Bryan Smith (Donnie); her grandchildren, Alesia Hill, Kerry Basinger, Chase Smith, Teeterman "Dwayne" Basinger and Adam Butler; and her siblings, Sue Fesperman Rodgers, Suzanne Story, Donald Correll, Robert Correll and Jimmy Correll. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Powles Staton Funeral Home (913 W Main St, Rockwell, NC 28138). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
