He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Maybell Davis and Luther Dee "L. D." Rummage Jr.; his sisters, DeAna (Smoland Spangler), Trisha (Lahmeyer) and Judy (McConkey Fox); his grandson Abe; his children, Laura Lea "Ottie" Rummage, Robert "Rooster" Merritt (Merritt O'Brien) and Abe Rummage (Kathy Scott Rummage); and his grandsons, Brodie and Mack Rummage. He was also cherished by his sisters, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, Steve's family asks donations be made to their local affiliate of Rock Steady Boxing, which has a mission to, improve the quality of life of people with Parkinson's disease through a non-contact, boxing-based fitness curriculum.
