With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Bailey of Salisbury, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Hoffman Bailey and George Bailey, Sr.; and his siblings, Randy Bailey, George Bailey, Jr. and Peggy Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Sides Bailey; his son Gary Bailey (Debbie) of Lexington; his stepson Tony Belk (Kathy) of Mooresville; his daughter Sherry Vanzant (Mark) of Lexington; his stepdaughter April Connell of Salisbury; his siblings, Larry Bailey (Wanda) of Lexington and Barbara Murphy (Roy) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Sierra Vanzant, Kendall Vanzant and Thomas Vanzant; his stepgrandchildren, Kristin Beaver and Cody Connell; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Fields of Salisbury.
