With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Penny Patricia Potts Godfrey of Salisbury, North Carolina, born in Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2023 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her father George Blaine Potts, Jr.; her husband Donald Lee Godfrey, Sr.; and her son David Ronald Godfrey. She is survived by: her sons, Donald Lee Godfrey, Jr. (Rose) of Louisburg, NC and Jonathan Richard Godfrey of Phoenix, AZ.; and her grandchildren, Walker, Quinn and Ingrid.
