She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Leonard Cauble and Jay Thomas Cauble; her former husband Eugene John Grubb; her husband Billy Seay Canup; her children, Thomas Eugene "Chip" Grubb, Vickie Grubb Rogers and Judy Gilbert; and her siblings, J. T. Cauble, Carl Benjamin Cauble and Marie Rogers.
She is survived by: her children-in-law, Vickie Grubb of Salisbury, Roger Gilbert of Salisbury and Gene Canup (Chris) of Salisbury. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (355 E Ridge Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at the Rowan Memorial Park (4125 Franklin Comm Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Bethel Lutheran Church.
