With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Elbert Carter (Salisbury, North Carolina), born in Dillon, South Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2018 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Carter; and his sister Lena Gulledge. He is survived by: his siblings, Maxine Johns, Robert Carter and John D. Carter (Elaine Carter). He is also survived by stepchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Pastor Joe Harding Jr. will be conducting the celebration and in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Wesleyan Methodist Church.
