She is survived by: her husband Cornelius Sadler; her children, Danita Howard (Ted Howard), Dereck Sadler (Terhas Sadler) and Duane Sadler; her grandchildren, Dereck Jr., Theodore, Barry, Jabari, Syrus, Zen and Ashley; her great grandchildren, Saniyah, Damari, Rahmir and Gianna; and her brothers, Jerry Hinson and James Lee Hinson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great extended family members and friends.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (1075 Shalimar Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
