She was predeceased by: her parents, John Turner and Anna Turner; and her siblings, John Turner and Mary Jo Jones. She is survived by: her husband Larry Brown; her daughter Candice Brown (Beth Duncan); her siblings, Shirley Yount, Betty Julian, Shelby Peterson, Cathy Allen (Dale Allen), Bill Turner and Nick Turner (Nancy Turner); her niece Julia Spiller; and her pet Sadie. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, several close friends, neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to the Glen Kiser Hospice House, 1229 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
