She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Walker and Creola Shuford; her husband Nathaniel Lyons; her daughter Mary Lyons; and her siblings, Robert Walker, Ray Walker, Frank Walker and Kellie Cuthrell.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Lyons of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Roshonda Smith (Rassan) of Salisbury, Anthony Wallace (Ranita) of Salisbury, Lessa Anderson (Bryan) of South Carolina and Candace Wallace of Salisbury; her siblings, Mamie Jefferies (Billy Jo) of Salisbury and James Walker (Katrina) of Salisbury; and her sister-in-law Minola Walker.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kelsey Memorial Chapel - Noble and Kelsey Funeral Home (223 E Fisher St, Salisbury, NC 28144). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
