As we bid adieu to Michael's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Michael has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Hardister and Delta Callier Hardister of Norwood, NC.; and his son Christopher Hardister. He is survived by: his wife Lois Miller Hardister; his siblings, Darrell Hardister (Robyn) of Asheville and Cheryl Lewis (Terry) of Rockingham; his stepchildren, Christopher Miller of Friendsville, TN, Jim Quick (Melody) of Concord and Dr. Amy Mahle (Scott) of Concord; and his stepgrandchildren, Jeremy Mahle of Concord and Emily Rheinbolt (Winston) of Salisbury.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his honor to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, a charity of your choice, or his home church of Grace City Church of China Grove.
