He was predeceased by: his parents, Haskell Hartsog and Polly Leona Hartsog. He is survived by: his wife Bridgett Hartsog; his children, Preston Hartsog (Melissa) of Myrtle Beach, Dustin Hartsog of Myrtle Beach and Nina Clark of Morganton; his sisters, Susan Fink (David) of Albemarle and Leslie Osborne (Rick) of West Jefferson; and his grandchildren, Jaydon Hartsog, Bryson Hartsog, Jolene Hartsog, Brody Hartsog, Jasmine Wedge, Elijah Clark and Eva Zuniga.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boone Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (2005 Mt Jefferson Rd, West Jefferson, NC 28694). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
