She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Cole Pierce and Naomi Younce Cates (Pierce); her daughter Ashley Rose Kirkman Hobson; her sister Tracy Cates; and her grandmother Irene Kluttz Younce.
She is survived by: her daughter Erin Marie Kirkman; her grandchildren, Will, Lana Williams, Jr., Parham, RJ, Wyatt and Braiden Hobson; her siblings, Wanda Nesbitt, Elizabeth Pierce, Benita Honeycutt and Terry Pierce; and also Rockwell.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Christiana Lutheran Church (6190 US-52, Salisbury, NC 28146).
