She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lee Raney and Mary Viola Holshouser Raney; her husband Jerry Wayne Leonard Sr.; and her sister Geneva Nunn. She is survived by: her daughters, Terri Freeborn (Rick) and Karen Holshouser of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Josh Freeborn (Misty), Megan Doan (Daniel) and Hannah Wyruit (Rae); and her great grandchildren, Aaron, Maleeyah, Caleb, Carlee, Silas, Jacob, Rae-Rae and Noelle.
