With heavy hearts, we announce the death of MaryAnn Decker of Salisbury, North Carolina, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on February 8, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Morton Cook; her grandchild Jackie Whitley; and her brothers, Pat Cook, Jr., Morton Cook, Jr. and Michael Cook.
She is survived by: her husband Harry Weaver Decker Jr.; her children, Tammy Moose (Frank O'Brien) of Gold Hill, Susanne Weber of Salisbury, NC, Julie Swaringen (Paul Benfield) of Salisbury, Danielle Lefler (Kenneth Christel) of Salisbury, David Weber of Salisbury and Steven Decker (Betty Rabon) of Lexington; her stepchildren, Cindy Decker of Baltimore, MD, Willa Warthen (Butch) of Salisbury, Tim Decker, Harry Weaver Decker, III (Donna Phillips) and David Decker (Paula) of Portsmouth, VA; her sisters, Rosemary Morgan, Saralee Horsey, Bessie Cook and Tina Hamlet (Danny); and her grandchildren, Ricky Whitley, Talon Lefler, Kaitlyn Christel, Anna Swaringen, Ciera Swaringen and Laykin Rose. She is also survived by ten step-grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
