She was predeceased by: her parents, George Currence and Mary L. Jackson Currence; her husbands, Tracy H. Moore and Samuel J. Adams; her sons, Tracy Tyrone Moore and Israel Joseph Moore; her sisters, Haddasa C. Bryson, Wilma C. Walker, Thelma C. Caldwell, Sarah C. Stowe and Gwendolyn C. Plummer; and her granddaughter Nicole Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Lewis E. C. Moore, Henry Aaron Moore, Harold Jeffery Moore (Muriel) and Mary N. M. Moore. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hairston Funeral Home (703 S Main St, Salisbury, NC 28144). Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church (719 S Caldwell St, Salisbury, NC 28144). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Us National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
