She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Dick Lester and Sarah Stewart Thornton Lester; her significant other Howell Lee Davis; and her brothers, Henry Dick Lester II and James Owen Lester.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Faircloth (Mike), Judith Ann Forbes and Mary Heather Steinman (Todd); her sister Judith Ann Lester Shoesmith; her grandchildren, Michael Edward Faircloth (Elizabeth), Anna Stewart Faircloth, William Lester Steinman, Amelia Jane Steinman (Lee Homes) and Joseph Charles Steinman; and her great grandchild Olivia Leigh Faircloth.
