He is survived by: his wife Helen Hicks Laws; his sons, Michael Laws of Harker's Island, NC and Eddie Laws of Churchland; his grandsons, Vincent Laws, Colton Laws, Cody Laws and Michael Price; his great grandchild Emery Ann Laws; and his siblings, Jim Laws (Kate) of Kentucky, Brenda Hoskins of Florida, Debbie Bland (Danny) of Thomasville, Sue Watson of Lexington and Jerleen Simmons of Lexington.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Piedmont Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
