It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Smith of Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rufus Herrin and Zora Belle Furr Herrin; her sisters, Helen Jordan and Mazelle Calloway; and her grandson Timothy Eudy.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby W. Smith; her children, Lisa Morris (Richard) of Albemarle, Roger Strube, Vickie Eudy and Janice Jackson; her grandsons, Bryan Morris (Katherine) and Johnathon Morris; and her great grandchildren, Joseph, Jaydon, Addison Morris and Shannon Lee. She is also survived by grandchildren; and 5 additional great-grandchildren.
