In the sacred silence of farewell, Karen Kirks is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jettie Allen Kirks and James Henry Kirks; and her brother James Titus Kirks. She is survived by: her husband Henry Alexander; her son Daniel Almazan (Christy); her grandchildren, Tyler, Isabella and Mason; and her brother Paul Allen Kirks. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Omwake-Dearborn Chapel at Catawba College (2300 W Innes St, Salisbury, NC 28144).
