It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Oakley Tinsley of Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on September 19, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Rosa Oakley Cureton; and her siblings, Buford A. Oakley and Annie L. Oakley. She is survived by: her husband Albert E. Tinsley; her daughters, Pamela Tinsley of Salisbury, LaTonya Tinsley of Landis and Jeanna Tinsley Stephenson of Concord; her brother-in-law William Paul Tinsley (Cathy) of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Lauren Stephenson and Elijah Tinsley-Walton; and her nieces, Betsy Robinson of Salisbury, Francine Oakley Bristol of Morganton, Ronda Oakley Corpening of Morganton and Shenise Oakley of Raleigh. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
