With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Judy Carol Cox Blackwell of Salisbury, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Cox and Estelle Burris Cox; and her brother Billy Ray Blackwell. She is survived by: her children, Paul Lynn Blackwell of Salisbury, NC, Elvis Ray Blackwell of Missouri and Lorrie Hinsdale (Gary) of Mocksville, NC; her sister Mary Helms; and her grandchildren, Isaiah Atwell, Jacob Atwell, Rebekah Starr, Noah Atwell, William Hinsdale, Jordan Blackwell, Christie Blackwell, Andrew Blackwell, Steve Wagoner and Lindsey Reddell. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (1025 Ed Weavers Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church.
